Turmeric has been getting a lot of recent attention because of its Inflammation fighting abilities.

Turmeric is a spice commonly used in Indian cuisine and curry dishes. 

This spice will do a little more than just provide a unique flavor to your food, if used correctly and often it will help fight many ailments in hoomans and dogs  like;

Turmeric has curcumin in its properties, it has been suggested by many studies that curcumin fights inflammation and eases pain caused by Arthritis. In lab testing, reports show that curcumin blocks growth of certain types of tumors and cancers. 

You can give your dogs turmeric and its a perfect supplement to add to your dogs regular diet. You can give your pooch turmeric before any health issues develop as a preventative measure, similar to getting a flu shot, or taking multi vitamins. 

Turmeric and its phenomenal properties are not readily available for dogs to absorb and benefit from if not prepared correctly. Dogs require a healthy carrier oil such as coconut oil to allow absorption. If you really want to boost your dogs absorption of turmeric you should add black pepper. Black pepper contains a phytochemical called peperine that can increase the absorption of curcumin by up to 2,000%.

Give your dogs turmeric! And give it to them often.
